Need some input... next month is prom in my town and I've had some girls ask for prom makeup trials. How do you go about that? How much do you charge? I get why there are makeup trials for brides but is it really necessary for prom?? In my town a makeup application is around $60-$65. For prom I'm doing a prom makeup special for $50, but I normally charge $65. TIA 😘

I'd do maybe a trial for $30 x

I would say to go with $45. If I was a customer, that would be reasonable. Although, $30 is a good price too k.

I think 30 or 40 is reasonable... without lashes and stuff

Prom is a world away from when I went...lol I'm glad for that. Whew!
I think your special is absolutely a fair price; I say to stick with your $50...only I'd adjust the price for mass appeal, to $49.99...lol
That penny makes a big difference psychologically as people tend to round down, rather than up, if it feels more like a bargain.

I would say $35 without lashes and $40 with lashes would be fine for a trial.
Also make sure you're clear that you're charging for the trial! A lot of the girls I work with do freelancing and they've had plenty of clients who didn't realize they had to pay for the trial as well so just make sure everyone's on the same page before applying any makeup (:
