Stopping myself from buying it 😂 But the hardest thing for me is to get out of my rut. I tend to use (and buy) the same eyeshadow colors, lip colors, even blush. I need to try a new look.

Contouring my nose! I just can't master it on myself :( I can on others, just not on me. ugh so annoying lol.

I don't think blush looks great on me for some reason. I think it's my bone structure; my cheeks are a bit sharp so I don't have a proper apple to deposit blush on.

Winged eyeliner 🙄 but not because I can't make them precise or even, I just have trouble getting the wings at an angle that flatters my eye shape. I have a very steady hand and don't typically have problems with application! I feel like my eyes are not suited to the winged eyeliner look unfortunately.

I think the most difficult thing for me is doing the same eye make up over and over again and wanting to try every single foundation for oily skin. Also trying to figure out my perfect shade in foundation at the drugstore 🙄

Blush. I don't know why, but I hate shopping for it, hate putting it on, and when I do get it on if it's not perfect I get so angry lol. I think because I'm so fair I feel like a lot of blushes don't look good on me, they're too much or something.

The most difficult thing so me is to not exaggerate my under eye texture

It sounds strange but I feel like everyday I struggle with something different, lol. Some days my contour is difficult for me or doesn't blend right, sometimes my eyebrows come out too "blocky", sometimes my eyeliner looks terrible, etc.
However I constantly struggle with angling my wing the right way. Also lining my waterline. It constantly fades and disappears!

For me it's blending cream contour. I always feel like I look muddy or it's not blended enough 😂

I have a hard time making eyeshadow look nice. I have small eyes and I always end up wiping eyeshadow off and just doing an eyeliner instead, eyeshadow never looks good on me for some reason

Mostly it's having the willpower to not buy more every time something new and pretty comes out, haha, but for real, I think my biggest recurring makeup issue is I can't keep liner on my waterline for more than 5 seconds unless I use a waterproof gel liner. Unfortunately, I also wear contacts, so most of those gel-based liners create this horrid film on contacts that not only annoyingly impairs your vision, it leaves a scum on your lenses that is actually visible to others. It doesn't come off without hardcore scrubbing, and it makes you look like you have cataracts. Needless to say, I usually pass on the waterlining even though it looks really striking.

When it comes to my personal routine I've practiced and researched enough to find out everything that does and doesn't work and why and I can very thankfully say I no longer have issues when I want to do pretty much any makeup look for myself.
however, when it comes to practicing on other people I struggle so much with matching foundations or picking lipsticks for someone whose skin color is very different than mine. it's hard to picture what a lipstick will look like until it's on and even on myself I usually try on 2 or 3 before I find the right color. and I HAVE to test at least 2 foundation shades before I get it right.

At this point, just having the motivation to wear makeup at all. It has been nearly two years since I actually sat down and did makeup for fun. Now that my health is more stable, I might be able to get back into it.
