Exfoliation. Use like a face loofah and a good moisturizing cream. I like the cerave moisturizing cream.
I've been exfoliating a lot and it makes your skin reflective/glowy. You just have to make sure not to exfoliate too much or it can make your skin dry.
For me I exfoliate... Almost every time I shower but lightly and it works for me but it's not for everyone. Some people will have to exfoliate less. It really depends on your skin

Organic, Cold Pressed Rose hip oil mixed with a little Vitamin E in the bottle. I store mine in the fridge. I would test patch anything new.
I only exfoliate twice a week as that's what works for my dry, sensitive skin.
I like CeraVe wash, but for an exfoliating wash, I love Philosophy Microdelivery Wash. Removes flakes and hydrates. You need just 1 pump in your hand and apply to wet skin. I use it on my whole body. Sesame Oil or Sweet Almond Oil are also great for the body. I use Sweet Almond on my face as well to soothe dryness. It absorbs quickly.

Sana, most of the tips are natural, such as the wash and exfoliation Aurora suggested and the oils I recommended. Even the wash I suggest, uses gentle diatomaceous earth to reveal a glow and banish flakes. The oils will brighten your face while hydrating.
Additionally Raw Manuka Honey and greek yogurt or plain yogurt make a divine soothing and hydrating face mask. This will reveal brighter, softer skin. I hope I've explained that well. Just be certain to test any new products on your skin prior to applying them to your face.

To help reduce, cut down on carbs such as bread, rice, potatoes, pasta and increase your lean protein. You can drink Green Tea which will help your body work more effeciantly. Leafy greens, seeds, fiber..this also are good to help your body along...and watch your sugar intake. Drink plenty of water as well. Best of luck to you!

Thanks so much Sydney!
Sana, my pleasure. I began using Rosehip oil mixed with Vitamin E last year and it has transformed my skin...brighter and softer. Just a really delightful, natural moisturizer. Look for Organic, Cold Pressed Rosehip oil and add a little vitamin E to the bottle to help extend it's shelf life. Kept in the fridge, it will also help retain the ingredients at maximum benefit. It is a soothing way to end the day and I sleep in it often. I alternate it with Sweet Almond Oil and Jojoba Oil...and use my CeraVe PM and CeraVe AM..as well as the Philosophy gentle exfoliating wash.
Best of luck to you on your special day. I hope you share photographs with us all. Happy New Year to you!

You should be able to find rose hip in your natural food stores or vitamin/herb shops...as well as E. I place a little E within the Rosehip oil bottle itself. Then, place in fridge until use.
