Ladies, I need help ASAP! I have major dey scalp issues. My stylist said it's not dandruff, that its dry scalp. (I thought they were the same thing for the longest time) Apparently my scalp is very sensitive. I've tried almost every dandruff shampoo out there. Eventually tried to using more expensive products that say the moisturize, most recently Biolage. I've even tried home remedies such as vinegar (gross!) and soaking my hair with conditioner for an hour before finding it out. I never dye my hair either. What products or home remedies do you guys prefer? I'm at a complete loss!

I'm no expert but I would say all the dandruff treatments probably dry you out even more than you are naturally. try a moisterizing mask for your scalp... I'm sure someone will have a suggestion for you

Coconut oil or hanging in there for a couple days for your natural oils to begin to moisturize your scalp , I suffer from this as well and it really is not easy! I try to not scratch my scrub but to massage the dandruff off!

Try using sulfate free shampoos and try washing your hair less and using an oil treatment by massaging oil onto the scalp weekly before a shower and let it stay in for 15 min or use it everytime before a shower as a sort of pre-conditioning treatment do that it's slightly moisturized and the shampoo won't strip out too much of your natural oils
