About a year ago I was on birth control that gave me horrible cystic acne like the under the skin painful ones.. It was a shot that lasted 3 months so I couldn't really stop the estrogen and hormones from being imbalanced after that point.. My poor skin was left the scars and a few of the are gone but they are some that refuse to go away.. I just started like literally tonight the advanced night serum from Estée Lauder and I have been using the dark spot corrector from Clinique. I just didn't know if there was anything else out there.. Or if you guys could look at my skin and tell me exactly what kind of scarring this is.. Lol I have not been to a dermatologist I just never have time.

I have no idea what kind of scaring you may have, but I know somethings that would help, an exfoliating facewash would help break down the scar tissue; or a remedy like lemon juice, honey, and sugar would do the same thing as well as lemon naturally lightens your skin.

Have you looked into the brand Neo Strata? I personally have never used their products but heard they work wonders for acne scarring and clearing up skin!

Vitamin C is good for reducing the appearance of acne scars. Lumene is a good line that has a lot of brightening, vitamin C products :)
