Tired of shaving...

I want to try something instead of shaving because I am super lazy, but I'm afraid of messing up my skin. I tend to get razor burn and irritated skin if I'm not careful, so I don't know how my skin would react to other methods. Does anyone know if Nair or the at-home-waking-kit works and if not does anyone have any other suggestions for me?

What are you planning to use the nair on? I use it on my arms and it works very well. however, the hair will begin to grow back in a few days.

I've used the nair sugar wax on my legs and it worked well but I like the nads waxing strips a lot better - it's just easier than heating up wax and risking possible burns.

I don't think using a hair removal cream would work. Personally when I did it I felt like the hair grew back normally like when I shaved and I had to use it again.

@Livia I'm wanting to use it for my legs and bikini area and I'm worried about sensitivity. How long does the wax last?

For your legs, go for the veet ready strips. Jenny is right. For your bikini area, I wouldn't recommend self-waxing. You could however get the sensitive veet cream variation, that's special for your "area". But make sure you take the allergy test a day before going for the whole "styling"

I've used that many times and my skin reacted normally too it. it's is not bad but it can be messy. Logistically, I mean, it's like you have to be sure to be someplace "comfortable" with your legs up and be ready to remove it as soon as the time is up to avoid irritation.
