I'm addition to my other hair questions in a previous thread. I was wondering how you do your hair before you go to sleep. do you leave it down or put it up? is there something I should do to avoid breakage while I'm sleeping?

I have all of my hair cut off but I used to notice more breakage when I would sleep with my hair up. I would think it's because when you roll around, your head is pulling the hair tie and causing more breakage.

I sleep in a loose, top knot.. with a silky scrunchie that is non binding..on a silk pillowcase. That pillowcase..So much easier on hair. Mad love for it. I even take it with me if I have to travel.

I always sleep with my hair down. It's uncomfortable for me to sleep with it tied up. I always hear great things about silk pillow cases I must look into them.

I either sleep with my hair in a loose French braid or loosely tied up somehow. If I don't have it tied up I'll pull it all above my head while laying down so it doesn't get caught underneath me as much

My mom used to go to one of the designer salons in Dallas and her stylist always told her to sleep with at least the top layer up in a scrunchie or a big clip because it will make the follicles actually move upward, so you get natural volume. I sleep with my hair in a loose bun because my hair will look terrible otherwise lol

I usually sleep with my hair down, sometimes if it's hot I'll do a loose bun.

I usually braid mine or in a super high bun so it's almost at my forehead and doesn't touch the pillow.

Depends on my mood at night. Sometimes I sleep with 1/2 french/dutch braids, sometimes in a loose bun and sometimes loose. When it's loose or in a loose bun however, it tends to look bad in the morning so I have to take my time doing my hair. Unlike that, with my hair in braids, I only have to free my hair and I'm good to go!
