When Is It A Good Age To Wear Makeup?

If I had children I would say 15 and limit what they wear light lip stick mascara and just a little eye liner. Too much make up is not good for young girls it can cause pimples and make them look like they are 25.

I definitely think eighth grade is a good time to start wearing makeup. Eyeliner does effect your eyes after awhile though. Also, I think you shouldn't wear makeup at all because if you wear it all the time then don't people see you and it looks bad but if you only wear it occasionally its like, WHOA!

I started wearing make up when I was about 12 years old and looking back I think that was too young. I went overboard and wore thick layers of foundation, (that often didn't blend well with my skin) mascara, eyeliner and blush. It doesn't sounds too bad but my skin was sensitive and acne prone and all that make up made my skin terrible. Now I'm 18 and my skin doesn't look as youthful as it could be and I blame it on wearing make up at such an early age. There's nothing morally wrong with wearing make up at an early age but I wouldn't reccomend preteens to wear makeup for the sake of their skin's health in the long run.

I started around 10 but I have light hair and fair skin so my eyelashes were blonde and a little mascara made my eyes really pop and made me feel pretty. It's really only to make you feel more confident! I think you can start whenever it doesn't matter!

My sister is already wearing makeup at 10 (I think this is ridiculous) but I started wearing everything (eyeliner, foundation, etc.) at age 12. :) However I did wear a little eyeshadow and mascara at 11 but I stopped for a while.
