I don't know if it's bad to leave them on overnight, but I don't see why you'd want to! I like to leave mine on for just 15-20 minutes. I guess it depends on the brand you use though!

They can break delicate capillaries on the sides of your nose. This is permanent with a corrective cosmetic procedure needed to fix it.
You'd do best to pat a little BHA lotion on the nose instead.. or mix 1 part organic apple cider vinegar with 3 parts water and dab with a cotton round. For either option, always test patch skin. If using BHA, a sunscreen is crucial. These are more effective and won't harm your delicate nasal tissue. Using a Salicylic acid, alcohol free toner is another option and will help your pores and skin with exfoliation.

I'd like to note, not everyone experiences side effects using strips, but I just think there's more effective, gentle ways to banish blackheads and help get pores looking their best in the long run.

If you mean the peel-off kind, don't leave them on for any longer that it takes for them to harden slightly. If you do leave them on too long, wet them before you take them off.
