Okay so throughout the day my face constantly feels like it's dirty. I use apricot scrub day and night because it makes my face feel clean. Maybe 4-5 hours later my face feels nasty again I don't know why. I have bumps on my face. Not pimples but small bumps. Does anyone have any idea what can help with this? I have dry skin & I moisturizer with ponds dry skin cream.

You should discontinue your use of the apricot scrub. The St. Ives one specifically is too harsh for the skin. Instead invest in a proper cleanser, toner, and moisturizer for dry skin. I suggest the Origins Checks & Balances Frothy Face Wash and the No7 Beautiful Skin Toner, Day, and Night Cream in the Dry/Normal formula (:

Sounds like Dermatitis. You are not only over exfoliating, but that product is incredibly harsh for skin. I agree with investing in better skincare.

As for your bumps, your skin needs a serious break. I'd avoid drying alcohol, perfumed products, fragrant oils and drying soaps and scrubs. Let your skin calm itself. Rinse with cool water and pat skin dry with a cotton towel gently. Keep your hair away from your face to reduce irritation. You might also want to take a Benadryl. A hydrocortisone cream from the drugstore used sparingly will relieve itch. This is intended for short term use only and with just a very few dabs where you are irritated on your face. Long term usage of cortisone thins skin, but for now, it's fine. I wouldn't use it more than 3 days. If it is still there after three days, I'd see my doctor.

You can also apply pure aloe gel stored in the fridge for cool relief. (You want it to be actual aloe and free from fragrance or alcohol.)

If you want a very gentle scrub that will leave skin silky, Philosophy Microdelivery Wash is great. You can get a trial size for about $11 and it will last since you need so little product. I'd wet my face prior and limit and be sure to hydrate with a healthy skin moisturizer, like CeraVe or Paula's Choice Recovery. Her Recovery toner is formulated for very dry skin and is gentle. As Alexis, suggested, toning may help you feel like your skin is it's best..fresh and clean.

I don't personally recommend physical exfoliation daily; your skin has precious oils it needs to maintain it's health and when you overexfoliate and overwash it strips skin of those valuable oils. If you try the Philosophy Wash, use with a very light touch, applying no pressure with your fingertips and letting the product do the work on wet skin. I'd wait until skin settles before I began using anything but a gentle, hydrating wash, like CeraVe on my skin. That Ponds is good for removing make-up, but I'd switch for my moisturizing.
