It sounds funny, but get on all fours and put your chest on the floor. It retilts your uterus and relieves nerve pressure. Oh, and painkillers lots of painkillers. Seriously try a downward dog it does help before the pills kick in.

Ladies cramping comes from an imbalance of magnesium and calcium . These 2 minerals deal with the functions of muscles. Now most won't know which mineral we may be lacking or both so a detox would be great!. Not a 3 day diet detox or a quick fix u want to do a detox with natural pills to really cleanse ur insides to help replenish any imbalances not just the 2 mentioned. I had cramps years ago an once I did a 5wk detox my cramps since have been none to minimal. No painkillers needed. Of course this is a natural remedy ladies so u have to be patient. Maybe take 2 mos or more depending on you. Here's some more info http://m.voices.yahoo.com/how-alleviate-menstrual-cramps-naturally-562450.html.. Good luck :)

@Madison S. Yes its possible to stop your period. I haven't had one in over 9 months(no im not pregnant, im 15). You have to have a certain body fat percentage to have your period (i believe its 10%, dont quote me on that). Im a gymnast so the frequent exercise caused my body fat to decrease and thus, no more periods. Good thing too because my cramps used to be unbearable.

Not trying to convince anyone to lose weight to stop getting their period! Periods suck, but their part of a healthy body!

You can stop/delay your period by taking Vitamin K...In that small stuff...for injections.Just drink it...

Stopping menstruation by extreme weight loss can be dangerous! You risk damaging future fertility and a whole host of other hormonal issues. Prescription birth control can reduce or eliminate periods. If it is that bad, see a gynecologist and make sure there isn't an underlying condition.

I usually get really really bad cramps when I start And I usually exercise, not like a hard core work out but I just walk around the house or take my dog for walks. Also taking pain relievers, using a heat pad (I use a rice bag), or eating bananas. :) sometimes if I can even just keep my mind off if the pain by doing something like playing games or being productive that helps too!
