@Ave I think it depends on the type that you have. From what I can remember they say that the copper IUDs can cause bad cramping while the hormonal IUDs can help with it. Maybe that was the case with you?

I take some ibuprofen, use a heating pad and take a nap. Eating some icecream helps as well.

Eating icecream?! That makes things worse for me! I avoid cold food and drink no matter what! Haha.

Wet a hand towel or washcloth down a bit and put it in a plastic bag. Microwave it for 30 seconds or until its as warm as you'd like. I do this at night and sleep on my back with it resting on my abdomen. It works miracles! Drink lots of water too and avoid salt as to not bloat. Feel better!

hmmm...the best is a medical pussy control. To see if its not sth wrong inside. They might give u birth control pills cuz they have hormons and will help you.If not,use pills with Ibriprophen, take worm showers(not hot and not in a bathtub).Avoid internal tampons.Keep your feet warm and your back and belly covered.Idk about you,but a good sexual life helps u aswell...Don't understand me wrong

I've got endometriosis so my cramps are crazy painful, I passed out all the time but one thing that works for me is cold and flu relief sachets, the ones you make hot drinks out of. They taste revolting but the heat in them + painkiller in the solution seriously helps, and I've spent years trying every trick. Just try it!

It sounds mad but go for a walk. Walk round the house. Round the park. Where ever. Have a hot bath. Get into the comfiest pyjamas and massage on some tiger balm and get yourself a hot water bottle.

You could go the advil or midol routine. But if you want to help relieve them without medication, try using a heating pad, thats helps a lot. Also abdominal exercises, like crunches do help. If you like dried figs, bananas and greek yogurt, all those help to relieve bloating and cramping. Hope this helped and feel better!
