Hot/warm baths never work for my cramps, they actually, make them worse. But every person is different. Moving around alot helps for me, Yoga does too.

To relieve the menstrual pains:
drink tea
lay a hot heated bottle of water onto the area of pain
Eat CHOCOLATE: it really does help, plus its a win-win bc chocolate tastes good and makes you feel a lot better.

I used to have to go the emergency room when the first day of my period came, pain pills wouldn't even help. As I get older they seem to be less painful. So perhaps you have that to look forward to, I still use a heating pad, and thermacare has pads that you wear on your stomach while your out. I think I read somewhere caffeine helps, it's a miserable time for me each month people would say toughen up and take a midol

Cramps are actually kinda good for you. You're body is training itself for future births.

I used to get crazy cramps. My blood pressure would go down. I'd have heavy bleeding for 6 days. It was ridiculous. So I got on birth control. It's super light and controlled now. Comes the same time every month and no pain at all.

My cramps are so bad I can't go to school and work some times.... I eat bananas and take hot shower or bath. I also wear socks bc when Ur feet are covered its like an insulation and keeps Ur body warm. Also I have realized you have to take meds before the really bad cramps come,or nothing will take them away.

If you're looking for a drugfree solution, try exercising or placing a warm bottle over your tummy, or maybe even massaging the area that you have the issue with.
