I recently purchased the viseart neutral mattes palette but its been sitting in my drawer unswitched for nearly 8 weeks or more because I can't commit to using it yet. Anyone have any experience with it? $80.00 for a e/s palette has been my biggest investment to date.

I've never even heard of it before, but if it's been sitting there for 8 weeks, a) the store may not even take it back & b) are you sure you even want to use it? if you've been contemplating on using it all this time, is it worth it?

Why don't you want to use it and try it out? Usually stores will take it back if you don't like it

I think you should give it a try, the colors are gorgeous & I've heard nothing but good things about this palette

Where did you purchase it? If you got it from sephora they will take it back if you swatch it.
The colors are gorgeous in the palette and I've only heard great things. If the colors aren't your cup of tea and thats why you aren't using it then I would return it. But if you like the colors swatch them and try them out, you don't want $80 to go to waste

Viseart palettes was the first thing my daughter purchased for her kit. The pigmentation is pretty dang awesome and she said if she had to choose in only one line to be in her kit...Viseart would be it. Crack open that palette!!

I have no idea I've just been paralyzed with using it but the next time I wear makeup I'm going to play with it! Thanks for the feed back.

I completely understand the feeling Bria...especially when it comes to high-end goodies like that. One starts to question one's artistic ability to create a great eye look. The cool thing about makeup...regardless of price-point...is that experimentation is the greatest lesson. You won't know unless you try. What's nice about the palette that you have is that it makes a nice anchor for any other eye palettes you have. I hope that you post any eye looks that you create using this palette. I would love to see what you come up with. ;)

If I could afford a Viseart palette, I would be sleeping with it under my pillow! I wouldn't be able to keep my hands off of it... That's the holy grail of eyeshadow!

I bought it from CRC and their return policy isn't as good as sephoras so thats why I didn't return it. It' was always sold out on sephora so I just bought from them because it was in stock and I was already purchasing other things from their site. If I didn't use it I figured I could just resell it to someone who wanted it.
I do like the idea of having a matte palette because I don't have a collection of any of these colors I only own like less than eight matte neutrals. I was mostly hemming over the price!

Then you should keep it and use it, mattes can come in handy 😊
