Hey everyone! So I keep seeing this gorgeous lipstick color and when I ask each person they say kat von d Lolita. But I've realized there are two different shades.. Maybe due to different manufacturer or forumula? I'm not sure. I want to know whether it's worth buying because one color I love, the other.. Eh, not so much. Is the liquid lipstick the same in the way that there are two shades?! Someone help a girl out! To buy or not to buy.. And would I have better luck with the liquid? (Color wise)

I think I remember that kat von d changed the formula so the old lolita is a bit different from the new one that came out. Therefore I'm not sure if the old one is still olin stores/:

You might be able to find the old formula on Amazon or eBay. Yeah, the new formula isn't near as gorgeous as the old one was. Big mistake.

The old one is the pretty one.. if it looks pretty, then that's it.. if it looks dull and more brown, that's the new one

Yeah the formula was changed and now it's a weird brownish colour, the other colour was way better.

But I would have to buy it online and I don't know how I would be able to tell from eBay/Amazon. Yeah! I love some brown lippies but it's just not even close to the first formula.

She has changed it back to the old shade which is a dusty rose so the ones that are in store should be the original shade (not mucky brown) BUT there might be leftovers of these mucky Browns that you might not get the pretty one. So it's gamble pretty much.

Yes KVD has actually addressed this and said it was a bad colour batch due to the new formula experimenting, the brand will return to the older formula. I would wait until that shipment hits stores.

No. They haven't released a date and it really depends on your personal sephora. I'd just try and keep an eye on it

If I were you I would just go and check the sephora you never know it may be there just remember to swatch before hand to make sure its the right colour hope you find it :D

Remember Sephora has a pretty good return policy so if it's the bad batch color you'll probably be able to return or exchange it.
