I have a huge list of mac shadows that I have lol but I think you should add cranberry or rule to your compact. If ever you want another to go with that combo Nano gold is beautiful to add. :)

Thanks for the suggestions Alma! Cranberry looks really pretty! How would you use it with the other colours in this combo?and What would you say your top mac shadows are in general?

I'm toying with the idea of upgrading this to the 15 pan palette if I get on well with the formulations so any suggestions are well received :P

Naked lunch on main lid, cranberry on crease mid lid, brun on lash line from mid eye to outer corner working it up to crease half way and patina to help transition and diffuse any harsh lines and use naked lunch on the brow bone and help diffuse patina. Hope that all made sense lol I'm a show you how person versus a typing explanation person. Most of what I love from Mac shadows are now discontinued or were in a collection and haven't been returned, but if ever they bring my all time fave pigment back you should grab it! It's antique gold and as for shadow it's sweet chestnut and brass Omg I love it! My faves they have now Nano gold, rule, cranberry, rice paper, stars n rockets, black berry,humid and the list goes on. I tried to post a pic of all my shadows but it's not allowing me to. I let the team know so they could fix the issue and I could share my stash with you lol

Thank you! That definitely makes sense, I'll have to give it a go, cranberry looks right up my street.

I'm going to have to go back to the shop and swatch all these up my arm I think, haha.

I bought Cranberry on the way back from work the other day and I love the look you suggested! I'll definitely be wearing on my next night out, I'd wear it too work but I don't think my boss would be happy about it :P.
