Jacqueline's on the money! Not sure why everyone thinks cat eye? That didn't really pick up until the 1960s, and even then it wasn't really as big as people think. A subtle flick at the outer corner is as dramatic as it got in the 1950s for the most part.

The main features of 50's girls were definitely red lips, bold brows& winged liner/cat eyes! So I'd do those, maybe a neutral eyeshadow if you wanna add more :)
