Do you collect makeup?

I love watching makeup collection videos on YouTube and it got me thinking...I buy makeup with the intent of using and only keep enough that is realistic to me. I wanted to know, do you collect makeup just to have a lot of it or nah? Hope that made sense lol.

I don't buy two of one thing unless I'm seriously unhappy with the first product. I feel like I learn certain things more slowly that way, but I know I could get easily carried away if I bought products just to try them!

I collect palettes so I have no limit on thatbut just cuz i collect them dosent mean i dont use them, i just dont use them that often, but other then that I buy makeup I like and want to try and try to use it, its hard to do my makeup with my kids and to add on well unless its a weekend I don't go out much so its hard to use it all, I have gotten much better though and have stopped buying a little cuz I have a good amount of makeup for my self and I don't want it going bad

I'll easily buy eyeshadows but I'm more strict on myself when it comes to Foundation, Concealer and Mascara! I refuse to purchase more until I have used up one or its been around too long.
Lippies I am kind of flip flop on, I still feel uncertain with them because I feel like I might only use it 2-3 times right after I buy it! I think I do a good job at controlling my impulse to just buy everything, but its pretty tough when you're on Beautylish :P

No but I do own a lot of mascaras and lip products so I guess I kind of hoard those, not necessarily to have a copious amount, but just because I usually buy them in bulk because they're my favorite products lol.

Collect? No. Hoard? Yes.

But really, I don't exactly "collect". I suppose after buying everything, it appears as a collection, but that's not the intent. I buy for the same reasons as you. :p Buying something just to have it seems like such a waste of money to me, and I'm just not in a position to afford such a luxury lol.

I don't collect all products of makeup. I use the same bb cream mascara and blush but I am really into collecting lip products at the moment! Whenever I have extra money I'll just pick up a new shade. So I guess I collect lip stuff! Not just for the collection though- I use every single one I have, switch it up every day

I hoard but don't collect... I own hundreds and hundreds of products so it seems like a collection but I buy it all because I want to use it (and if I don't use it then I pass it on to my mom or a friend). I hate having shit just sit there and collect dust...

I buy what I'm going to use, but I do like to buy new products to try out.. But I do a lot of research and read reviews before I buy lol I also try to find products for cheaper if possible lol so in away I collect I guess lol.. But I use pretty much all of it. Make up is fun so many combos can be made, different looks.. So I like to have a variety of things :)

Nothing I buy goes unused. There are definitely certain products I end up reaching for more and thus some go unused but I do buy with the intent to use, not to just look at lol. The only ones I think I got that are "collectibles" that I don't use much are the Sephora Cinderella and Ariel palettes and the Urban Decay Oz palettes. But I do still use them from time to time
