I'm using a new foundation and I really like it but I have trouble getting it to stay all day. I want to try a new setting powder but I'm not sure which one. Any recommendations?

First love make sure you're using a primer before your foundation because this will also help your makeup lasts longer. I use the makeup forever hd setting powder and I LOVE it and a little goes a long way! I bit pricey but worth it. Hope that helps!

If you're looking for a cheap one Rimmel has a pressed powder that sets my makeup pretty well. It's good for touch ups also.

I think it really depends on your skin type. I am very oily, and this is my regimen and has worked the best out of all the regimens I have tried. 1) Cover FX Mattifying Primer - apply with fingertips/blend with my beauty blender 2)NARS Luminous blended with UD Buffing Brush/blended with beauty blender 3)apply my highlight with concealer, blend out with beauty blender 4)set highlight with my Smashbox highlight powder from contour 5)set EVERYWHERE with Laura Mercier loose powder with my beauty blender. Pressed/rolled. I then dust over my face with my it cosmetics powder brush to remove any excess.

My favorites are the Hourglass Veil Mineral primer and their ambient lighting powders. I have absolutely been loving my ambient lighting powder to death. Yes it was $45 but it's wonderful. They are more like a finishing powder but I use mine to set my makeup too and it does a good job as well. My skin looks great after I apply it. Sadly I actually haven't ever had both the powder and the primer on hand at the same time to see how they work together but I'm sure they are even better together. I definitely love the primer too though, I can't use any other primer after using it.
