Hey everyone,
So I work with teenage boys and I wanted to host a little activity where we'd do some diy beauty treatments (they've been asking me lol). I know its not always a good idea to do diys, however, I can't buy them things and we'd have to use what's in the kitchen. If you have any ideas, feel free to share and THANK YOU!!

First off if you use honey make sure you patch test on each boy because honey could cause irritation, second those boys will be screaming if you put nutmeg and cinnamon on their faces! lol also never use lemon in your diy things cause it causes damage to your skin you could do an avocado mask, you could have each one of them make a lip scrub using coconut oil sugar and a dash of vanilla extract and food coloring if you want to ge creative, that could also double if you make enough use that for a hand and foot scrub too, also I wouldnt really trust pinterest because they love to use lemon and other skin irritants but thats really all I could think if at the moment I don't really do any diy stuff for that reason oh and you can try oatmeal just mixed with water or yogurt (not hot if course) but if any of my suggestions are bad just let me know but like I said I don't really use diy stuff but I know avocado and oatmeal have great benefits

I would get them to make some DIY lotion bars. You will need beeswax and Almond Butter or Shea Butter and Coconut Oil. You basically melt these together and pour into a mold and put in the fridge for a couple hours. You can also do some scrubs (grind up oates, add a teaspoon of honey and/or olive oil and there you go). You can do face masks with honey and yogurt, avacado and honey, green tea and yogurt. Pinterest has so many ideas, you can check out my pinterest url. I have a board for Skincare DIY. Also please make sure to patch test all of these ingredients before using them on the skin. Also keep in mind if you're using yogurt you want one that's organic and that contains an extremely small amount of sugar because sugar can really irritate the skin.

A super simple mask that leaves your skin feeling soft like a baby's butt is just oatmeal and water like Brianna suggested!

DIYS are not harmful to the skin, just ones that are using products that are skin irritants. I agree with the ladies about oatmeal is amazing, avocado, organic plain yogurt, coconut oil with sugar for a scrub, I'll post more later too but I think this is a great idea hope you all have fun!
