I don't know why I'm just now hearing about this but I found a diy on a matte top coat apparently if you mix together your regular shiny top coat that is about 25% empty and a teaspoon of cornstarch you get a matte top coat so I decided to try myself and now I'm sad I didn't know about it sooner!! Just thought I would share! (:

This Diy does work pretty well, but I find it is basically the same price to buy a top coat for this diy as it is to buy NYC Matte me crazy, which is my favorite matte top coat! Just another option :) this is a great alternative if you can't buy a matte top coat though!

Sometimes the mixture can make it a bit less smooth looking also, it's best to use a store bought but great if you've got nothing else!
