My nails are extremely dry and damaged from acrylic nails, what do you ladies do to keep your nails strong? I need some help 😩

When my nails were damaged from acrylics I just cut them down so that they would quit breaking off because they were so thin and then I just put a strengthener on them and some cuticle oil. I don't remember what the oil was, but the nail strengthener was just a normal one from like Walmart.I hope I helped! (:
