Okay, so I'm getting fake tips for the first time? Can anyone tell me what they're going to do and how bad it's going to hurt? Does it hurt getting them put on or them just coming off?

I've been wearing acrylic nails for the longest and tbh it really doesn't hurt putting them on but when you're taking them off it could hurt , such as biting them (which I hate) or trying to lift them off.. If you're going to get them , there's nothing to be worry about and if you don't want to damage your nail bed , soak your nails in acrylic until they're COMPLETELY melt down or you can play with them to take them off while they're soaking.

It doesn't hurt getting them off. However, be prepared for damaged nails afterwards if you decide to remove them. If you get them off professionally, you will have less damage, but you will have to wait for your nails to grow out for complete repair.

I've had fake acrylic nails for forever now and it doesn't really hurt getting them put on, but for the first time having them on it will feel kinda strange and your nails might be kind of sore (but it won't hurt). Just be prepared that when having fake nails the first couple days you're going to have to ask people to open everything for you lol and they'll be a bit difficult to work with for a bit but you'll get used to them :) If you don't plan on keeping fake nails, remember that your actually nail will be damaged and very thin. So you're going to want to take extra good care of them. When you want them off definitely don't go biting and pulling at them either go back to the nail salon and have them remove them or soak them off at home yourself. Hope I helped :)

I got mine done for the first time just a couple weeks ago. I'm 16. and personally they were a tad rough but I also had tiny hands so I don't know if that plays into the pain factor or not but it doesn't hurt too bad. taking them off kinda hurts, I kinda ripped mine lol but they were kind of coming off already to begin with. at first after they do them your nails maybe sore but after a day they didn't hurt anymore.
