So I don't break out often so I don't know what to do I randomly broke out in to giant zits and I was wondering if there was a way to shrink it or make it less red?

When I break out I'll do a green tea/oat mask. I grind up about 2 cups od oats in a blender and stir it in a cooled already brewed cup of green tea, and apply all over. I leave it for 15 minutes. It's soothing and brings down the redness. Sometimes I add a drop of tea tree oil or another anti bacterial agent if it's an open zit.

And to make it less red, if you have eye drops for red eyes then that could help a bit

Ahhhh. I have to respectfully disagree with regard to toothpaste as for many it can burn the delicate flesh, leaving scarring or redness. Tea Tree Oil (diluted) will dry up acne and drinking Green Tea/using the tea bag, will reduce inflammation and address bacteria. You can also make a cool, green tea rinse to splash on your face to soothe it and address bacteria.
If you have select red spots, Aurora is correct that a drop of Visine will reduce redness for a brief period. The oatmeal mask Alyx suggested sounds quite promising. You'll need to counter any dryness with a gentle moisturizer.
This may be stress, an allergy or reaction either topical or dietary since the breakout was sudden and widespread. I'd examine if I've introduced new skincare products...have been eating more if a certain food category...new fabric softener, etc. I'd also change my pillowcase and use only 100% cotton...changing it every 3rd day.
