Hey, Well my mom has a really annoying problem that maybe you could help her with :)
She has super oily eyelids and eyeshadow does not last very long on her and also I guess the oiliness takes away from the vibrancy of the eyeshadow colors
Do you know what she could do to prevent this from happening and also do you have any suggestions for good drugstore eyeshadows she could try(she prefers matte but doesn't really mind a bit of sparkle either)?

Hello Thickra! I see this problem a lot working as a makeup artist. I always recommend using an eyelid primer to help with duration and creasing of the eyeshadows. There's the Nars Smudgeproof Shadow primer, the MAC prep+prime 24h eye-base, and the TooFaced shadow insurance. These are fairly colorless, so it won't affect the color of the eyeshadows you apply. However, for more vibrancy you could use a primer in a cream matte color, that will even out the tone of the eyelid and brighten it up a bit, such as Urban Decay's primer potion in Eden.
Also, sometimes using less quantity and blending it in really well helps a lot with the creasing. The more you work a product, the better it integrates with the skin and the longer it lasts!
Hope I helped!! :)

Mariah, your eye shape is closer to an almond shape but not quite there, Your eyes are a fun shape to play with in terms of makeup, Beauty!
Thickra - This is the most common problem that we see in the industry mainly just because there's a lot of us that have oily eyelids, even I have the problem from time to time, using a primer can definitely work what I usually do is I put a good concealer as a base then I pat it a bit with a setting powder to keep it in place, and then I just use whatever eyeshadows I want, I recommend only mattes for people who are getting a little bit older mainly because anything with a sparkle tends to sit well in wrinkles and tends to make them look older than they are and thats the last thing we want.
I never recommend drug store brands, sephora sells brands that are very affordable I would recommend get the Naked basics pallet for your mom thats what I got for my mom and she loves playing around with the colours.
Cheers girls. xox
