So one day I hope to be pregnant I hope that I can be like my glamorous sister she almost 8 months along and she's just as stylish as kim kardashian in so impressed by her but as happy as she is being pregnant she is missing her old body and want to get Maternity Spanx or just regular Spanx it worries me her getting that so I'm coming to you styleish lady's to hear your experience with this or even just your opinion.

Are you asking if it's bad? Or along those lines..

I suppose it can't be all that bad , though any sort of compression should be limited.

They sell belly belt things to help with pain and posture but they aren't that restricting and totally safe. I would be worried about a blood clot but that's just me being paranoid as I've had a blood clot and during pregnancy it can be very dangerous.

I would not take a risk. It's only one more month.

I'm disheartened that these even exist.

Me too Roz... baby bumps are gorgeous! In all honesty, I feel that they'd be a risk to the baby. Compression on the stomach during pregnancy can lead to blood clots, disfigurement of the child, stillbirth, and various other health risks. And if she's almost 8 months along then the baby is nearly due, it won't be long before she can start getting her pre-pregnancy body back. I'm not pregnant and never have been but I wouldn't want to do anything that could potentially be harmful to the babt.

I just think it is already difficult for many women to feel beautiful, let alone ones expecting a baby. They can't be comfortable and I'm sure there will be plenty who feel it is safe, but that does not mean I agree. I just feel like you can be healthy and stylish without all this nonsense...and I get that everyone wants to be cute and look their best...but it is a sad statement of a cultural mindset that's already brutal on female bodies. It just makes me sad.
