I hope I got the right name. Anyways, you know how some people are spring or winter types? How do I figure oh what season I fit into? Also my hair has been dyed for 3 years - how do I best go on about determining my hair colour tone?
Thanks so much for your help :)
P.S. I'm sorry, if this in the wrong category

I'm sorry but I don't know what you mean by season type..?

I'm not 100% sure but I think I'm an autumn type (pale, cool undertones, green eyes, red hair).
I'm pretty sure it's all to do with your skintone, undertones, hair and eye colour.
Could you list your skintone and what not? I'd probably go with your current hair colour to determine what type you are at the moment.

Honestly nobody really uses the seasons anymore, but it's skin tone, hair color and eye color that's taken into consideration.
As for hair tone - any red tone, its warm, a greyer cool tone is ash, and neither is neutral toned.

Lara I have no idea how to explain it 🙈
My natural hair colour is somewhat ash blonde, but I have lighter blonde highlights that are toned to a kinda honey-ish blonde.
I have green eyes with golden dots and my face is pink-ish and rather pale

Thanks Alyx :) you're always so knowledgeable :)
How do people work out colour schemes then? Like do they use undertones?

Honestly I don't know anyone who does anymore. Like I don't think about the color scheme, I just try it on, if I like it on me I buy it, if the color doesn't work I don't buy it. And at home I find one item and then I find another that looks good with it. I don't really think about the colors unless they look bad together. But I'm not really a fashion person, so some people might. My wardrobe mainly contains jeans and t-shirts or tank tops lol. But I think unless you are a personal shopper who has a very uptight client who will fire you for giving something to try on that doesn't go with their skin tone, I don't think it's really used anymore

Oh okay :) yeah that makes sense. I was never able to figure mine out (hence the thread lol)
But the other day I was shopping and the shop assistant picked out a gorgeous lip colour in a dark berry red and she told me that with my skin type and everything berry tones were great for me, so I got interested :)

I understand, I just don't know if they really work anymore. Like people used to tell me I was an autumn, then I'd dye my hair and I'd be a spring. People don't do that anymore, but I think it's because they really depend on so many factors that it's easier to go "I don't look good in____" or "I really like the color____ on my skin" yknow?
If anyone else can help more that's awesome, I just think they've kinda become less useful than they used to seem to be.

That's actually a really good point, because hair colours can be changed all the time :)
Maybe I'll look out for product for warm/cold types or just do what you say - wearing what I like on me, colour-wise ;€
