What is the best way to clean my brushes?

I take a big bowl of warm water and put baby shampoo in, then I swirl my brushes in it and get all the product out. Then I swirl the same brush in another bowl of water with only warm water :)

Make sure to hang them up up side down when they dry so they don't loose their shape :)

I have a brush cleaning jar (actually made for painting brushes but it works for my make up brushes just fine).
I do the same think as Sabrina but in my brush. I bought it in a craft shop.
the bristle on the blue sponge help dislodge pigments better than just shampoo.

Also don't forget to disinfect them with an alcohol solution as well like a brush cleaning solution (sephora and Clinique make some good ones) because even though you clean it with some sort of soap that may not disinfect it and you can use the brush cleaner daily between your deep cleaning with soap n water - just make sure you don't dip the whole brush because the glue that holds the bristles to the handle can get ruined so only dip the tips.

I have been watching a lot of videos of them using Zote bar soaps to wash them and I bought one and it truly works

I just mix olive oil and some dawn dish soap. Swirl the brush in it.. Rinse under lukewarm water till clean :-) works like a charm and keeps my brushes soft

I use Cinema Secrets brush cleaner - it's a professional-grade brush cleaner. I just pour into a shallow dish (enough to dip one quarter of the way up the brush bristles),
dip the brush tip into the cleanser and remove immediately (the capillary action will draw liquid up into bristles). Then wipe clean on absorbent paper towel or cloth and repeat as necessary. I bought a brush holder stand from beautylish - the one that holds about 20. I just put the brushes in it upside down and let them air dry. Then when they're dry, I flip them right side up in the stand and this is how I store my brushes on an everyday basis! If you use your brushes a lot, they should be washed on a weekly basis. Otherwise, monthly (or so is the "general consensus" as I've read!)
