So my hair is straightened every morning, but within 30 minutes it's looking curly and frizzy and gross. any ideas? also, when I straighten my hair, 50% of the time it ends up looking really lifeless and flat. I have no idea what to do.

Go to your salon and get a straight perm. I got it last summer and my hair has never been troubled or frizzy at all! My hair is still super straight now.

My hairstylist recommended a brand called HAI elite. It's better than chi (she told me this) and it stays straight and frizz free for a couple days. Since I bought it, I have a lot less split ends and overall heat damage compared to all of the other brands I tried. I also like how the temperature is customizable in 2° increments up to 380° (the max temp for any heat tools should be less than 400° cuz any higher will fry the hair) I have had it going on 7 years and it still works like new :)

I rarely (like, once or twice a year) straighten my hair, but I have a Remington one, and it's really good.

I'm a ghd girl all the way! I've had mine for 5 years and they're still good as new. Great for straightening and curling too.

Paul Mitchell flat irons are really good, theyre exspensive but worth the money. I've never owned a CHI but I've had a hand full of people tell me that theyve had a CHI and its broke.

I went to Sallys and got the One 'N Only flat iron with their amazing Argan oil infused into the plates to make your hair less frizzy when you flat iron it. I love it. (: its inexpensive and works wonders..

GHD are my fave, your hair stays straight all day and it doesn't take as long to do, but the only thing I don't like is how you can't change the temperature::

Chi air. I have extremely curly frizzy hair and it used to take me hours to straighten my hair now it only takes 15 to 20 mins. I loveit!!

I love my GHDs. I've had the regular ones for about ten years and I got the wide plates about 6 or 7 years ago and they are even better on thick frizzy hair. They have been worth every penny :-)
