Here. :)
I know the title says semi-heatless, but thats only because you start off with wet hair and then blow dry. The blow drying is optional though.

Try a stretchy head band a take a piece of hair and wrap it around your whole head. Wear it overnight. Take it off in the morning and you have heartless curls.:)

Hmmm I'm not sure as it doesn't curl from the root. There are lots of other heatless techniques. Try searching heatless curling for short hair

Also look up pin curls. You wrap each piece of hair around two fingers and then pin it to your head and sleep on it.

Do a inside out french braid on the back of your head (or pigtails, depends on hairtype) while your hair is 50% wet and let it stay on overnight.

Divide your hair into 4 buns when it is moist. Let dry. When dry, mist with hairspray. If desired, go over hair with a dryer with diffuser, to add texture. Hope this helped.
