I've used lots of brands chi, iso, etc.etc.and the best one I've come across is the one my sister has by paul mitchell its all black with green plates onthe inside its really good I tried lookin for it but I have yet to find it I believe its discontinued but she got it from a salon years ago (Visible Changes)

Chi. Invest in it, it last for years. Also try a heat protectant spray so your hair won't become damaged. Getting a perm might be too much for your hair. Just reduce heat and try the spray.

I like sedu. It works extremely well for my natural, curly hair and keeps it that way for a week or more depending on how I take care of my hair.
