Honestly... I have hairy arms! And it's brown and the hair shows really bad and I'm really embarrassed! My mom says if u do the hair will just grow back thicker and darker but idk... I want to really bad but I'm not sure if its a good idea or bad.. Please help girls!

Wax!!! I used to shave my arms and it got worse :( now i wax them and the hair is more thin and less dark! It doesn't hurt on the arms! At least it didn't hurt me :) I ABSOLUTELY SAY WAX!!!

Honestly don't shave them! I had the same problem I know how embarrassing it is I used to get made fun of in elementary school! In the last year or so I have taken up waxing them and the hair grows back less and less not to mention thinner and lighter! Also waxing may sound painful but doesn't hurt as much as you would think due to your arms being less sensitive then say your face :) hope I helped

Don't shave your arms! My friend did it back in middle school and it grew back patchy and uneven. You can always get them waxed though, I got that done and it didn't grow back darker, thicker, or whatever people are saying. But overall, embrace your arm hair, everyone has them and it's not that big of a deal. :)

No! To much upkeep and it looks nasty when you get stubble. Wax, or bleach. If you don't want I spend too much money get an at home waxing kit from target (or something) my friend and I waxed her arms at home with a 15$ kit and there were no issues. didn't grow back for 3 weeks either.

I'm in the same boat as you, naturally hairy haha! DON'T SHAVE! I don't even shave my legs! I wax! Though I wouldn't wax my arms so thats why I bleach em'! I think that the safest (and painless) option.

Do not shave them. Wax them if you must. A girl a worked with shaved her arms and we worked in tight quarters and everytime her arm brushed mine I'd shutter because of the stubble she'd get on her arms

I know it's tempting. I made that mistake and I have blonde hairs. luckily it hasn't made them darker. but thet get thicker and hairier and once you start you can't stop . especially if you're dark
