simply the best

Erin (below) described the wonders of this powder, but if you don't believe her, try it for yourself! It's perfect especially if your skin is dry(ish). Has this fantastic ability to make your skin look glowy without making it look shiny, and (for me) one application in the morning lasts all day.

Not sure if anyone else has this problem, but I find that most powders kind of gunk up on my skin and make my pores look huge. Other powders, ahem, Bare Minerals, look great at first and then make my face look even shinier than it would have if I hadn't worn anything at all.

a latte uses

Pardon the pun.

Latte is a pretty gold, which I find to be a bit too much for my lips. However, it is a-a-a-a-amazing as a blush/highlighter and as an eyeshadow. I've even mixed a bit with moisturizer and it gave my face a very lovely glow without making me look like a grease monster. I'm so excited to have purchased this because it's all I need for summer (along with mascara and lip balm, of course!)

This stuff is so amazing and I love using it all the time. After burning through a couple of the large containers I thought I'd start making my own using sea salt, kosher salt, grapeseed oil, vodka, and lime and grapefruit juice. Works just as well for me, and saves a significant amount of money.

yummy

This perfume will leave you smelling like a super yummy cupcake! I carry the solid around with me and rub it into my temples and I always get compliments on how great I smell. I recommend LUSH scents for those of you who like wearing a scent but have sensitive skin that gets irritated when you use normal perfumes.

Magic!

Even though I feel the same as many of the other reviewers, when it comes to this product I just want to give my endorsement as well. I love how multi purpose this is - it's a great eyeshadow and liner that stays put, but I also use a teeny tiny bit as a highlighter (and sometimes I use it on top of lipstick to add sheen). I bought a sample size about 6 months ago and it's still going strong. Highly recommend it!

great for curly lashes

I personally love this mascara, but not everyone I know does! I would recommend it if your lashes are already curly. For some reason they pump mine up without clumping, giving me bambi lashes. My friends who have straight lashes, however, don't like this mascara. They say it doesn't hold the curl (from their lash curlers) and comes right off.

While it's not recommended, I keep this mascara for about 5-6 months at a time because it gets better as it dries out. When I have a new bottle I will wipe excess product off on a tissue, then apply. Once it dries a bit it is perfect. If you don't like this product and can't return it, I would say keep it and see how you like it in a month or so. I find that I save a lot of money with this because it lasts so long and never flakes. I typically replace other mascaras every 1-2 months!

mac never disappoints

Giving a MAC product 5 stars is kinda like saying you prefer cookies made with sugar- it just goes without saying. Although I try other brands and I do have other favorites, MAC's Cubic is absolutely the most natural blush for my skin tone. The color gives my pale skin a nice pick me up and it's the blush I turn to in a rush because it never makes me look like a clown.

great for conscience, not as great for your lips

I use this as my "date balm" because it isn't sticky or overly scented, making it all the better for smooching. As for day to day use, not the biggest fan because it dries too quickly and I have to reapply too often.

NOPE.

The reviews for this lipstick are so varied and I'm surprised because it's terrible! I don't think I'm that picky when it comes to drugstore lipstick, I buy quite a bit of it (I'll wear a color for, oh, about two weeks, then it goes to the back of the makeup drawer).

Anyway. I highly recommend just walking away from the Cover Girl lipsticks, you'll find that Revlon or L'Oreal make much better ones, albeit at a slightly higher cost. Why?

The CV lipsticks I bought stained my lips. BIG TIME. They tasted like wax and smelled horrible. I normally write reviews where, if a product doesn't work for me, I'll still endorse it (my friends and I are in the habit of trading eyeshadows, blushes, and yes, sometimes even lipsticks, as we are all varying skin tones) if a friend likes it. But not this.

Don't Buy The Topcoat

I'm only writing this as a warning to fellow China Glaze fans. I purchased the quick-dry topcoat and it's terrible. My polish popped off my nails within 24 hours of application.
