It Keeps Getting Softer

With every single wash, this little brush keeps getting softer, and I can't stop using it. This brush is worth $35, hands down. It is the little hidden gem in the Sonia G line up. It can be used for any cheek use: bronzer, blush, highlight, contour. It is the perfect little face brush. If you grab any Sonia G brush, start here. Between this brush and the Lotus Detail brush, I can practically do anything for the face. You can even use this to set the under eye, or for specific powder setting needs. I love it.

Beautiful

This is my first and probably only experience with Saibikoho and with Yakusugi wood. I know that Sonia has said that you would not be able to smell the wood, but you certainly can, from time to time, get a slight hint of a lovely smell from this 1000 year old wood. What a treasure. The Saibikoho hair does puff out to a sweet little ball when washed, and it can be used for any cheek product. It is soft, yet the bristles are sleek and do glisten with a special brilliance. I adore them. The blue squirrel eye brush is also lovely to behold, and a joy to use as a crease brush (I have small eyes and like to do precise work and then blend later), as well as an inner eye placement and to smoke out the eye overall.

This set was a once in a lifetime splurge, and it was well worth it. I'll treasure it for years to come. Thank you, Sonia, and thank you, Beautylish, for offering such a lovely holiday set. What a treat.

So Soft And Beautiful

I've had my eye on this brush for years now, and finally took the plunge with the Beautylish Gift Card sale, and I'm so very glad I finally bought this beauty. This brush performs just as I had wished it would: it is soft, it moves gently on the skin, it allows for buffing, it glides around the eye area, and it applies foundation like a dream. I do find that it absorbs just a bit of my foundation, which is fine with me because this brush is so very soft. The brush tapers to a point, which wasn't apparent to me in photographs. It washes very well. It isn't as densely packed as the T-3, which is exactly what I was seeking in this brush. I love Chikuhodo, and this brand has never let me down. I recommend this brush for any liquid or cream foundation, and you can easily use this for cream or liquid cheek products as well. I highly recommend it.

I'm in Love

I bought this set during the Hello Fall Sale, and I'm so happy I did. The largest squirrel powder brush makes this set a steal at roughly $245. I love that the powder brush is all squirrel, and that the rest of the brushes are a squirrel blend, save for the last lip brush. Most of the recent Chikuhodo holiday sets have been goat hair sets, and retail for $240, so I'm really happy Beautylish offered this set. After washing, these brushes bloom beautifully, especially the powder brush. I'm attaching an image to this review. In it, you will see how gorgeous the powder brush blooms in comparison to the Chikuhodo MK-UM, the KZ-02, and the FO-01. I even used the smaller highlighter brush as my foundation brush today, and it applied my powder foundation easily. The eye brushes performed so well with my Natasha Denona Retro palette. What a wonderful set. If Beautylish ever offers this set again, grab it. You won't regret it.

So Pretty!

I'm so glad I was able to pick this up in July, 2021, and that it was restocked. It comes in a lovely box, and the Raden design is lovely. Yes, this brush is short but mighty in brush length. I love the short handles, as I'm a "short handle" type of person anyway.

I've washed and used this brush daily since it arrived. It washes well, and has a lovely bloom after it dries (I don't use brush guards when washing). You can easily use this brush for setting powder, blush, bronzer, and a lovely sweep of highlighter. You can use it for finishing powder as well. The brush has a lovely angle, and this allows for so many uses. I store it in the cute box. For $135, this lovely long brush with cute storage box is a steal.

Love Them

I've had my eye on these for awhile now, and when they went on sale for Memorial Day, I snapped them up. Beautylish was fast with shipping, and I already have them. They're lovely and so soft. The smallest is perfect for eyeshadow (all over one and done shadow, crease work, blending, just perfection). The heart shaped brush is actually firmer than anticipated, and will work well for highlighter and even blush. The largest is extraordinary, and worth it for this brush alone. Fully washed and dried, bloomed beautifully, and so soft. I was waiting for the Sonia G Master Face, but with this large brush I don't need it anymore. I don't regret this purchase at all. Heavenly soft, and worth every penny, especially on sale. The brush roll is a fun extra, and stores these brushes well. I won't hesitate to use this for travel.

Thanks to Beautylish for excellent shipping so I can enjoy these immediately.

Love it So Much I Think I Want Another

I've only had this for a month, but I use it every day. This brush makes me want to wear makeup more often. I use it for setting the under eye, for blush, highlighter, and bronzer. I also use it for minor contour work, as well as for buffing. If you get one Fude face brush, grab this one. It's perfection. I love it so much, I'm thinking of grabbing another. It's the softest brush I own and I'm forever grateful to Wayne for creating it

I'm in Love

I bought this to use as an eye liner brush, and it's perfect. So soft, able to pack color all around the eye. I next want to use it for eyebrow shading. I never want to be without this one. It's softer than a similar CHIKUHODO brush I also own. Wayne makes perfect eye brushes, and I'm so grateful

Perfection

This is the perfect sized brush for my eye shape. I have hooded eyes. This brush does it all: brow bone, crease work, blending, transition shading. However, I wasn't prepared for it to lay down shimmers as well as it does. This brush is sheer perfection and I love it. And this is a fantastic price for a squirrel brush. After using it one day, I bought the larger crease brush. It's that great. Wayne did it again and I'm so grateful
