Beauty Product Reviews | Page 2

I'm so sad that they discontinued this. It was really blendable and didn't look cakey. It was really smooth and had a great shade range too, and it was an affordable price!

Drying

I have this in Spellbound - it's a bright pink, it's not even wearable. I also found it really drying on my lips, and it settled into my liplines. I didn't like this product, but I may buy it again in a more wearable shade and see if the formula's better. I don't think that the line has a reliable formula, because I hear some reviews (including mine) saying that it's dry, while others say it's hydrating.

I really like this highlighter. It gives me a dewy look and it makes me look really healthy. If I'm running late, I can even use this as my inner corner highlight for my eyes and it still works! It's a great product, I adore it. It lasts all day too.

I have this in Rose Nude, and I love it. It's a my lip color but better. It's really cheap, and it has such a great pigmentation. It's hydrating, and it's creamy. I would definitely buy more of these.

I really like this concealer - however, I couldn't find something that would go great for my skin tone, because it has such a limited shade range. I have this in Medium 004 and although it brightens up my eyes, I feel like it's a little yellow - I think next time, I'm going to get a shade darker. It doesn't crease on me, and it's really creamy. It's easy to blend, and it covers up my dark circles pretty well, but I wish it could be more pigmented. I feel like this is more for under-eyes rather than blemishes.

Pretty

I really like this product. It's a little lighter than it seems in the bottle, which I love! It's great for my lips and on my cheeks it gives me a nice flush. You can build up the color or use it as a base for a power or a cream blush to make sure it stays on all day. Great product. The only thing I don't like is the packaging - it doesn't seem very sanitary to use it both on your lips and your cheeks. Also, I had a mini-size of this, and it opened in my purse and went everywhere, even though I tightly closed the cap. I was really disappointed. It's not very transportable, but the products so great, I don't even mind.

Great

Half Baked is a beautiful golden color, and Urban Decay seems to know this - they include it in almost all of their palettes. It works on my skin-tone very well (I'm warm-toned) and it doesn't create too much fallout, which I like.

  • Sin

I think Sin's a beautiful color. It was in the Naked Palette and it's one of my favorites. I use it to highlight my inner corner, and it makes my eyes look so much brighter!

I own two of these - Twilight and Not Just Nudes. I didn't like Twilight at all - it's an extremely cool-toned palette, and I was only able to use one shade of that, and even that one could only be used as an inner corner highlight. Not Just Nudes was better, but it creased, even when I wore them as a primer. People say they're good for bases, but they don't work that way for me. Also, if you only use them like once a month, they tend to dry out really quickly - I don't like that at all. It didn't reach up to my expectations.

Subtle

I really like this color. It's great for cheeks for a slight pink blush, although I usually layer a powder blush over it. On lips, it's a "my lip color but better" type shape. It's kind of expensive, so I don't know if I'd buy this again, but I'm definitely debating it. In the end, I'll probably give in and purchase it. It's a great product, I feel like it'd work best if you had a lighter-skin tone.
