Great Deal

I needed an eye palette for prom season at a great price, because I knew I wouldn't be using it all the time and after prom season, it wouldn't be of much use to me. I shopped around for a few, but this one was the lowest for $10, so I figured I would try it. I got it in the mail, and that day I put it to the ultimate test, a trip to an amusement park. I have to say, it lasted very long, when I got home, it wasn't fully pigmented as first application, but it still was there and visible. I have never had an issue with it, although I have to say I cried one day while I was wearing it and got the rainbow raccoon look, very embarrassing. It has so many beautiful colors, although I stay away from brighter shades. My advice would be to invest in a great primer and wet your brushes to make sure it last longer. Other than that, great product.

Works Like A Charm

Prom season was coming up and I needed some brushes to work on a few faces, but I needed so many that I knew I couldn't spend a lot of money on each brush. E.L.F had all the brushes I needed, they each did their job, and I don't plan to buy from anyone else, except maybe MaryKay to boost my sales.

I didn't expect a miracle, because again it was very low priced, but it works for me. I love it for when I use harsh colors, it evens them and makes them a prettier mix, instead of making them a mess, which has happened with other brushes. Definitely a keeper.

Works Great

I have extremely dry skin, especially in the winter and summer months, and this works great to keep my skin moisturized all day, everyday. I apply it right after I get out the shower, and I never have to worry about my skin for the rest of the day. I have even skipped a day here and there, and my skin still doesn't have that dried out, cracked feeling it gets when it lacks moisture. A staple in my house, we buy 2-3 bottles at a time, especially when it's on sale.

Doesn't Work

I was shopping for a eyelash curler because I lost mine, and I needed something but didn't want to spend the money to get a great one, so I ordered this one from E.L.F. and was very disappointed, I used it 2 and once on my sister so her senior prom, and nothing, no change at all. I guess it's expected because it was only $1, but E.L.F. is usually great at supplying great products at such a low, reasonable price.

Simple, Too Simple

I used this when I first started wearing makeup, and because my mom was not keen on the idea, I tried to wear things that we not noticeable. It worked, it was just enough pop to appeal to my young mind. As I got older, I realized I wanted more drama, especially for my eyes and I quickly kicked this one to the curve. In fact, I gave it to my little sister, who was 14 at the time. I would purchase this for someone just beginning to wear makeup, or just warming up to the idea.

Ok, Works Well, But Better Is Out There

I am constantly trying new mascaras, and I am very loyal to Maybelline when it comes to mascara, but they offer so many better mascaras, this one drifts away from my memory. I was very young, and very fresh when it came to makeup when I first tried this, I had only been seriously wearing makeup for a year max, so I saw a pretty yellow tube, and a few commercials raving about it's performance, so I figured I'd give it a try. I loved it at first, but then I found products that did better, and quickly stopped using it. Before long, it was time to toss it, and it still had half a bottle left. I almost kept it because I hate to be wasteful, but I had so many mascaras that I preferred, I wasn't missing out on anything.

Ok, Very Sticky

My mom loves these lip glosses because of their price, but I try to stay away from using these, they are very sticky, and if I ever want to wear it alone, I have to use a light lip balm, usually satin lips from Marykay, apply a coat of that, then apply the lip gloss to make the application smoother. It's great for high shine, whenever I use a lipstick and need to add shine I'll use one of these, a great gift for younger kids who want to feel like they're wearing makeup, the colors are very sheer, very light, very unnoticable, and blend together nicely with other products.

Love It, Gets The Job Done

I'm not big on applying 3 and 4 mascaras, except on special occassions, or using the same mascara 10 different times to achieve the look I'm going for, so I try to find mascaras that do everything I need to after first apply, and I have to say, this product does that. It's definitely my go-to mascara when I'm in a hurry and need something to make my eyes pop without all the hard work.

Works, But Creates More Problems

I used this during the summer because I had a weave in my hair and washing it would make it frizzy and very hard to manage. I figured, this would be the perfect alternative, and although it did reduce shine and oilyness, it also made my hair frizzy, not as bad as washing it, but still a lot of static. The price is very reasonable, especially at places like Walmart and Rite-Aid, but be prepared to dish out money for a de-frizzing solution or some of extra work to manage it.

I think the trick is to apply loosely, from root to tip, and brush out with a cushioned hair brush or a paddle brush shortly after. Whenever I did that, it remove the oils in my hair like the product said it would.

I also heard that this product is made from the same ingredients as everyday use powder, so if you use powder and apply it to your hair loosely, and brush it out with a cushioned hair brush, just like the directions on the dry shampoo said, and it's said to work. I haven't tried it, so I can't say whether or not it is successful, but I figured it would still be good to pass this info along.
