Gave me an allergic reaction

I bought this eyeliner mainly out of curiosity and at first, I absolutely loved it. It was seriously the blackest eyeliner I have ever encountered. After using it for a week consistently, my eyes started getting swollen, and each time I would apply this eyeliner, my eyelid by the lashline would start stinging. Not a pleasant experience! Now I am trying out new products ALL the time, and I don't have sensitive skin in regards to trying out a plethora of different products all the time. This really surprised me. When I removed the eyeliner, my eyelids were red and swollen. I couldn't apply makeup on my eye area for a few days. I figured it was a fluke thing, so then a few days later, I gave it another chance. The same thing happened.

I know that this product works fabulously for a lot of people, but for me personally, it gave me a horrible allergic reaction that just was not fun! So for all you beauties out there with remotely sensitive skin: Beware! Definitely won't be using this product ever again!

Blush is nice, bronzer is so-so

As I was perusing through the makeup aisles at Target, I stumbled upon this little gem. The packaging reminded me of NARS, and I absolutely love the NARS packaging, so I knew I had to buy it to see if the quality was comprable to NARS. Plus, it was only $3! Not too shabby at all. The colors are both very pretty and flattering. However, for me the bronzer is hard to blend on my skin, and ends up looking streaky and patchy, so I have to spend way too much time trying to blend the product so it looks presentable. The blush is way nicer, but not as pigmented as I had hoped. Overall, for just $3, I would totally go out and buy this if I didn't have anything like it in my stash. But I don't see myself going out and buying this duo again.

SO much fallout, it's ridiculous.

I'm just going to start off by saying that I absolutely love Urban Decay eyeshadows. To me, they are the creamiest and most easily blendable eyeshadows that I've ever come across. That being said, I absolutely despise their Stardust eyeshadows. I have seriously never seen so much fallout in my life! i tried everything, but no matter what, the Stardust shadows just kept going everywhere. Also, the color payoff wasn't my favorite. I would save my money and spend it on one of their regular eyeshadows for sure.

My all-time favorite primer

I cannot even begin to tell you how many foundation primers I have tried! I've also tried countless oil mattifiers (I have combination skin- but I get really oily in my T-Zone). Nothing keeps my makeup in tip-top shape like the Laura Mercier primer does! I first I received a deluxe travel sized primer from Sephora, and fell in love! I recently purchased the full size product. The price is extremely steep- $30- but I feel like it is worth it. You get 50 ml of product for the price- not too shabby! If you are in the market for a good foundation primer and don't mind splurging for a really decent one, definitely try this primer out!

Perfect for those who are on-the-go

I'm not going to lie... I was skeptical that this product would work as well as it does. I absolutely love the formula of this product, it is so creamy and blendable! In my experience, it hasn't creased at all on me. I absolutely love Bangalore because it is a beautiful olive green. MAC's Sumptuous Olive looks absolutely lovely layered over it! I don't really use the smudger side too much, but in the instances that I have used it, I love it! It makes such an awesome and easy smokey eye. This is absolutely perfect for beauties who don't have a lot of time to get ready for a night out! I am definitely going to try out some of the other shades. The only downfall is the price. But other than that, I would definitely recommend this product!

This kit has everything and thensome!

This kit is absolutely PERFECT for all of you fair-skinned ladies out there! I have tried many, many concealers and I must admit that Boi-ing concealer is one of the best concealers I've ever used. To get my perfect color, I mix both 01 and 02 boi-ing concealers to create my perfect shade. When I am not in the mood to wear a lot of eye makeup, I pop the Eye Bright eye brightener on my inner corners of my eyes, and slap on the Lemon Aid on my lids so they don't look so dark and icky, and I'm ready to go! I also absolutely love the Erase Paste that comes with the kit. I had always wanted to try it, and it comes in the perfect trial size! You don't need a lot of it either, so it will last you a really long time. I don't real use the "That Gal" brightening face primer often, but when I do, I thoroughly enjoy the results. Overall, this kit is absolutely perfect for those who enjoy having a nice looking complexion.

However, I do have a complaint: how come Benefit didn't come out with one of these kits for girls with darker complexions? I know I don't really need to worry about that because I'm so pale, however my best friend who has beautiful dark tan skin, wanted to try this but then realized the kit didn't come in her colors. Benefit would probably make a lot more money if they did have a concealaholic kit for dark skin! Also, the brushes that come in the kit are too small! I just ended up throwing them away and using a bigger concealer brush (or just using my fingers).

If you are fair-skinned like I am, then I definitely recommend this! This is such a wonderful and useful kit, and one I use everything up in here, you betcha I will be purchasing the full size products!

A wonderful setting powder for the most part

I had always wanted to purchase the HD Microfinish Powder since I had heard nothing but good reviews on the product. However, since it was so expensive I was rather hesitant to buy it. After months of deliberation, I finally broke down and purchased it from Sephora. The powder is so finely milled, it practically looks like confectioners sugar!

Now here comes the tricky part. Originally I was using a powder brush to apply this after I applied my foundation and concealer. However, that left my face feeling really powdery and chalky (I used a Sonia Kashuk powder brush). So instead I switched to using a NYX medium powder puff and pressing the powder into my skin to set my foundation (which rumor has it, is a better and more effective way of applying this powder). For me, I have been way more successful using the powder puff than a brush. The only thing I will say is that you must be sure to blend the powder into your skin or else you'll have random white powdery splotches on your face that just won't look attractive!

For the amount you pay, you do get a decent amount of product. Although .35 oz of product doesn't seem like much, you don't need a lot of powder for your face to begin with! My container still looks pretty full (I purchased this in October and use it 4-5 times a week). Overall, I am really satisfied with this powder. If you are willing to shell out a lot of money for a really good setting powder, then I would definitely recommend this one, along with a powder puff instead of a powder brush.

Highly pigmented & super creamy!

I honestly cannot stop raving about how utterly fabulous Sugarpill eyeshadows are! Like most other beauties out there, I've heard a ton of buzz about these shadows from various gurus on Youtube, but I wasn't quite sure if the products would actually live up to all the buzz. After placing my first order, I received the following pressed shadows: Dollipop, Tako, Midori, Afterparty & Flamepoint. Never in my life have I ever encountered such creamy and highly pigmented shadows! These shadows blend with such ease, it is almost unbelievable. And you don't even need a lot of product! All I have to do is literally TOUCH the eyeshadow with my brush, and I have enough product for my eye and thensome. Also, the color doesn't even fade (with primer on, I haven't attempted to wear it without primer) after a whole day's worth of shenanigans.

The pans of the product are larger than the Makeup Forever eyeshadow pans, and are a whole lot cheaper! For only $12, you get .14 oz of pure awesome in a Sugarpill pressed eyeshadow, whereas for $19, you only get .08 oz of Makeup Forever eyeshadows. And forget about MAC eyeshadows, those don't even compare!

The only con that I can possibly come up with is the fact that there are really no neutral colors. Of course there is a white (Tako) and a black (Bulletproof), but there are no nice brown or grey colors, which I would love to see. I cannot wait to see Sugarpill grow and introduce more colors and products to their line, and I highly recommend everyone to buy eyeshadows from Sugarpill! Although be warned: these shadows are not for the faint of heart!

Ps- I included swatches of the 5 pressed shadows I have. They're even brighter in person!
