Here’s Why Grape Water Facial Spray Is a Must Have for Hydrated Skin

Drinking water is crucial, but are you also watering your skin on the outside? Much like you’d mist your houseplants, I believe that skin also needs a shot of agua. Enter facial spray.

I’ve tried my fair share—from soothing and toning formulas to ones that can only be described as glorified tap water. However, one stands out from the bunch: Caudalie Grape Water.

Made from 100% organic grape water extracted from grapes during harvest, I consider this antioxidant-packed spray to be the purest form of liquid hydration.

After spritzing 1-2 times per day for over 2 months (I’ll need to reorder a bottle soon), my skin (typically on the drier side) has felt more moisturized and radiant.

Before incorporating this spray into my skincare routine, I would spend time layering hydrating serum, face cream, and SPF to keep everything moisturized. Now, I apply my trusty Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Broad Spectrum SPF 45 Hyaluronic Cloud Moisturizer with a spray of grape water, and I’m ready to tackle the day. Plus, needing less moisturizer, I’m conserving my skincare products.

And that just scratches the surface of grape water’s extensive benefits.

Rich in minerals, potassium, and polysaccharides (responsible for boosting skin’s natural ability to retain water and repair itself), grape water spray soothes irritation and strengthens the skin barrier while delivering a wave of lasting hydration.

One of my favorite things about the spray is that it doesn’t disturb foundation. In fact, a spritz or two appears to enhance application. When I need a little pick-me-up, I’ll spray it over my makeup and it makes everything look instantly soft and dewy.

Sometimes I’ll just spray it on my bare face for lightweight, comfortable hydration—no extra skincare needed.

If you’re looking for an all-around great way to moisturize (and a constant flow of compliments about how glowing you look), be sure to water your skin with this holy grail spray. As long as Caudalie is bottling grape water, I’ll be buying.
