Community star Gillian Jacobs looked slick and fresh at the Teen Choice Awards last night. Makeup Artist Adam Breuchaud and hairstylist Christine Symonds created her luminous face and loose half-updo.
“Gillian has amazing bone structure," says her makeup artist Adam Breuchaud. "I'm always inspired by her warm, light-hearted personality and try to bring that into her makeup.” Adam defined her eyes with nudes, pinks and rusty plums. He placed a light touch of bronze though her crease and smoked out her eye a little more with the Dior Nude Pink Design palette. To further brighten her eyes, he highlighted under the eyes with YSL Touche Eclat in No. 1. He wanted vibrant, happy color on her cheeks, and used Stila Convertible Color in Petunia on her fair skin. To complete Gillian's look, Adam applied Chanel Rouge Allure Laque in Ming, a neutral pink that defines the lip without distracting from her eyes.
Hairstylist Christine Symonds created a tousled half up, half down style. She first sprayed Davines Defining Texturizing Spray in hair then rough-dried with a blow dryer. She then wrapped sections of hair around a large barrel curling iron to create some loose texture. Lastly, Christine teased the crown and then pinned back both of the top side.
