No girly slumber party is complete without popcorn, good movies, gossip and lots of beauty products. Instead of the usual drugstore varieties, why not try some treatments that you can make yourself. They're inexpensive, fun to make and easy to use. Here are our top three.

AVOCADO HAIR MASK

  • 1/2 Avocado

  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 egg

Mash all ingredients together and spread through your hair. Cover with a shower cap and leave for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with cold water and shampoo and condition as normal.

Beautylish Tip:  This mask helps to nourish your hair and replenish it's natural oils. Just make sure to rinse all the avocado out!

SKIN TIGHTENING EGG WHITE MASK

  • 1 large egg

  • 1/2 teaspoon sunflower oil

  • 1 tablespoon corn starch

  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

  • 1 teaspoon honey

  • 1 tablespoon milk

Whisk the egg in a medium bowl until fluffy.  Stir in the rest of the ingredients until they are completely incorporated. Smooth the mixture onto your face and neck with your fingertips in a circular motion. Leave mask on your face for 15- 20 minutes. Rinse with cold water and pat dry with a towel.

Beautylish Tip: After rinsing apply moisturizer to help maintain the egg's tightening, nourishing and moisturizing affect.

YUMMY FRUIT SMOOTHIE

  • A variety of fruits- bananas, strawberries, mangoes, passionfruit

  • 1/2 cup Orange Juice

  • 1/2 cup Greek Yoghurt

  • Scoop of icecream (if you're feeling naughty)

Cut up the fruit into small pieces. Add all ingredients to the blender and blend on high for three minutes. Enjoy!

Beautylish Tip: This isn't a beauty treatment, but it's a tasty healthy drink to sip whilst waiting for your hair and face masks to set.
