We turned to nail pro and Illamasqua US Nail Art Ambassador Fleury Rose for three easy DIYs anyone can accomplish.

EVIL EYE MANICURE

MATERIALS:

Illamasqua Nail Varnish in Scorn, Scorch and Serenity (substitute new shades Cameo and Noble if Serenity is not available)

TOOLS:

Dotting tool, tooth pick

DIRECTIONS:
  1. Apply base coat, then paint two coats of Scorn black matte polish. Let nails dry for three to five minutes.

  2. Pour a small amount of Scorch onto foil. Dip the large end of the dotting tool into the white polish and dot onto nail. Repeat this three times per nail, and allow three to five minutes drying time.

  3. Pour a small amount of Serenity or substitute onto foil. Dip the small end of the dotting tool into the rubber blue polish and dot in the very center of each white circle. Repeat for each eye and allow five minutes of drying time.

  4. When all is dry, dip the point of a toothpick into Scorn and dot a tiny black point into the center of each eye.

  5. Allow a few minutes to dry, then add a topcoat for a shiny finish or stay matte—it's up to you!

VAMPIRE BITE MANICURE

MATERIALS:

Illamasqua Nail Varnish in Aorta and Boosh, Precision ink in Scribe

TOOLS:

Small brush

DIRECTIONS:
  1. Apply base coat, then paint two coats of Aorta and let nails dry for three to five minutes.

  2. Dip a small brush into Boosh and paint a tiny triangle at the top of the nail, creating a bow on the lips.

  3. Then, paint an oval shape in the center of the red nail—this creates the opening of the mouth. Allow your nails to dry for a full five minutes.

  4. Draw on fangs and a lip highlight using Precision Ink in Scribe.

  5. Allow three to five minutes of drying time, then apply topcoat.

WITCH'S MOON MANICURE

MATERIALS:

Illamasqua Nail Varnish in Phallic, DWS, Scorch, and Blow

TOOLS:

Small brush, disposable makeup sponge

DIRECTIONS:
  1. Apply base coat, then paint one thick coat of Phallic and let nails dry for three to five minutes.

  2. Dip a small brush into Blow and draw a tiny crescent moon. Dot on tiny stars using the tip of the brush. Let dry for three to five minutes.

  3. Pour out small puddles of Scorch and DWS so they are touching one another on foil.

  4. Dip the corner of your makeup sponge into both colors at one, and lightly sponge on a clouded effect.

  5. Allow three to five minutes of drying time, then apply topcoat.
