After applying a shadow primer, sweep on a shimmer lilac hue (we used Smashbox Amethyst from the Telephoto eye shadow trio) in the outer corner of your lid as well as the inner corner. Be sure to round out the edges for a smoky effect. Leave the center of your lid bare.

With a fluffy brush, use a light matte brown shadow (we chose Tease from the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette) above the lilac shadow to blend out any harsh lines around the edges.

Highlight the center of your lid with a light shimmering gold pigment (we opted for Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Loose Colour in Flawed). To enhance the true gold pigment, dab water on a brush and mix until it creates a thin paste-like consistency. Paint this mixture onto the center of your lid and feather around the edges.

Use a dark plum shadow (we chose Lancôme Sensational Effects Eye shadow in Backstage Pass), to create a more defined crease.

With a light nude shadow (we applied MAC eye shadow in Vanilla), highlight just below your brows to give the arches more structure.

Rim your waterline with a white eye pencil (we used Rimmel Soft Eye Kohl in White) to make your eyes appear more open. Set it with a light nude eye shadow (we chose MAC Eye Shadow in Vanilla).

Using the lilac color, smudge the shadow from the outer corner of your lower lash line.

With a creamy emollient champagne color (we opted for Benefit’s Watt’s Up), highlight the inner corner of your eye and set with a shimmer eye shadow (we used Suspect from the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette).

Draw a cat eye shape over your top lid with a fine tip liquid eye liner and apply false lashes.

Give your eyes some dazzle with a thin line of gold glitter liner in your inner corner (we used Urban Decay 24/7 Glitter Liquid Liner in El Dorado).

Use a warm pink blush (we applied Benefit’s Bella Bamba) over the apples of your cheeks to achieve a healthy glow.

Dab a champagne cream stick (we used Benefit Watt’s Up here as well) to give your bone structure a natural iridescence and set with a soft shimmering pigment (we used MAC pigment in Naked).

Just in case he goes in for that smooch, apply a lip stain (we swiped on The Balm’s Staniac) and gloss (we used Inglot AMC Lip Gloss in 542) and you’re ready to make him swoon!
