Bleaching is a lot of upkeep if you want it to consistently look good. And they'll cut your hair after the bleaching so the price of the bleaching will be depending on your current hair length.

In australia it's about $200 + some so it's not the cheapest and then you have to do regrowth

Color correction..you're definitely looking at more than 100. If you want professionally done hair you have a price to pay as well especially when it comes to bleaching. But then again I don't live in a small town it may be different. But normally if someone charges 50 or less for a color correction you are probably going to end up with bad hair. I wouldn't do it

I mean, the amount of money you put toward gas to get there, plus the supplies from Sally's would still come out cheaper than going to the salon most likely. :p

My hair reaches my butt and when I get mine done professionally, cut and color, it's about 100 + with tip. I honestly love it much better than chain salons. My hair dresser also styles my hair after and makes it all gorgeous haha :)

I know, but I have A LOT of hair, it goes down past my boobs and it's super thick and dark and auughhhh I don't wanna spend a bunch of money, but I don't wanna do it myself. :// Good luck though!! Do you have any friends of the family that do hair? I have one, but she lives in Vancouver, and that's a two hour ferry ride away. :#

I asked how much it would cost at my local (regular) woman, and she told me it would be $165. :'(

Personally just because I'm a weirdo I always tone after I bleach, even when I know it isn't going to make the biggest difference but if it comes out an orangey/pale orange colour the first time and you feel like you can't deal with it then applying toning shampoo on dry hair everywhere for about half an hour will help tone it down to a more ashy blonde colour, just make sure when you bleach, try and bleach your roots last unless they're darker than your hair, I always put it straight on and end up with white roots and ash blonde hair haha 😉 but it doesn't bother me cause it's only a process and it'll even out when you're a lighter blonde 💕💜

Most of the time it DOES matter if your hair is longer because they have to use more product and it takes longer and such. Around here it costs 40-60 dollars which usually comes with cut to which ain't that bad. I would just check around from some salons. I personally wouldn't do it by myself cause I know a lot of people with darker hair like yours turned blonde but that yellow tone or just a weird tone of blonde. And if your wanting to dye your hair pastel or any crazy color I would recomend telling the people you want a really pale blonde , and if not I would go get some pale dye 😊

You know I can't help with where to buy it, aussie girl problems :( you guys have better stores than us though haha! Okay, well you saw how dark my hair was when it was that red colour so I've bleached my hair twice, once with 30vol and once with 20vol but because your hair is in good condition you can use 30, just give it a few nights of deep treatments and oils before you bleach again (that's my secret, I forever have maroccan oil in my hair) haha! Butttt, lee Staffords purple shampoo is the pretty good at taking out the yellow/orange tones When it's used on dry hair! You'll just need the stuff I posted on your profile the other day! 💕

Ah, that does suck! :c I couldn't imagine a life without a beauty store down the street from me. :p Seriously though, whichever you decide to do, good luck!

Jacqlyn if you're terrified about "damage" just buy a big bottle of the 20vol peroxide instead of 30, it won't lighten as many shades in one go but will be a lot less Harsh I guess, 30 is always good for the first bleach though but 20 is always safest :) haha.

Not to butt in, but I believe they have different volume developers at Walgreens..but do they have powdered bleach there? Hm. Never though to look. Where's your nearest beauty supply store? :o.

Honestly hairdressers scare me to death lol, when I went in for a trim last I don't know what she thought I said but she just hacked at it, she cut like 20cm off it haha, I'd never wanted to scream at someone like I wanted to scream at her, I'm a horrible person 🙈 haha!

But maybe just ask the hairdresser and be like "I'm not paying more than this" but hairdressers sometimes tell everyone their hair isn't healthy enough to bleach and tell them they won't do it, even hairdressers get scared haha!

Aw, if you're intending on getting a haircut then it really won't matter how much you do to it beforehand because from what I've seen you have long hair as is so I'm sure you'll be fine! Which part are you afraid of? 😮💕

I had my hair bleached and dyed at a salon here and it was 100$ :( hence why I do everything myself haha!

The length of your hair may or may not matter. Majority of your cost will be based on how many processes they have to do to achieve the color. Like just bleaching would be considered a single-process coloring, whereas bleaching/toning would be a double-process. Obviously single is cheaper thab double..but I can't suggest an exact price, since every salon is different. :p.
