Out baby oil on and then socks before you go to bed. That's what my aaka did and it helped her.

If you were going to use Vaseline on your feet...the best way would be to slather on a rich moisturizer..let it soak in..and then apply Vaseline. Since it is a sealant, it should prevent moisture from escaping. I'd then cover in thin, all cotton booties. I prefer UnPetroleum, which looks and feels like Vaseline, but is plant derived. Whole Foods carries it.

I should probably let my mother know. She's been doing it for years and she obviously doesn't know. So yeah... no it doesn't work, her feet are just as dry and cracked as yesterday.
