I have the type of hair that I NEED to wash it everyday. If not, it gets really oily and my scalp doesn't smell very nice. I've noticed that my hair seems to get "used" to the different shampoos/conditioners that I try/use. It first starts off smelling really good then after a few weeks of using it, I can't smell it in my hair anymore. It's like a constant cycle of good smelling, good-feeling hair, then after a while it goes dead limp so i need to always change it around. I've been having success with the Redken products, so they may be a keeper, but is it just me? Can anyone give me suggestions? Is it even my shampoo/conditioner? I don't use any other product in my hair.

I get really oily hair if I don't wash it everyday because I work out every night. What I do is use a really awesome dry shampoo then wash my hair every 2 to 3 days. I use Suave which is really cheep and the most effective drugstore dry shampoo I've tried. For shampoo I use treseme color protection.

I HAVE THE SAME TYPE OF HAIR! And I do have to wash my hair everyday, mine gets gross too. It isn't bad for your hair if you use light surfacents (what cleans the hair). I have finally found my HG hair products! They are the Whole Foods line of shampoo and conditioner- the one for normal to oily hair. It doesn't have sulfates (which makes your hair produce even more oil) but instead has less harsh cleaners to gently clean your hair. I've been using the shamp/cond from them for months, and my hair has NEVER looked better!
