I got my hair highlighted yesterday and I don't know how I feel about it. From having dark brown hair all of my life, this is a big change for me. You can't really tell in the picture but my hair is almost fully blonde! I've been getting compliments all day but every time I look in the mirror I'm like "oh gosh, why did I do this?" But at the same time I love it, lol. What are some products to use to keep my hair from getting fried? And good heat protectants?

Try a shine spray, they work better then heat protectant and makes your hair soft :)

Same with me lol I've had dark brown hair and Burgundy and my hairdresser got me to get highlights. I couldn't believe I did it and everyone loved it. I'm use to it now lol. Moroccan oil for sure that's what I use.
