I'm growing my hair out, but I have always been curious, can short haired girls get extensions? Can you see the difference between the layers? I was considering finding somewhere to get them professionally done, but I honest have no clue. What are the best types of extensions?

Extensions are made for people who want longer hair immediately without waiting for it to grow so yes they work for shorter hair. Although if you have extremely short hair I don't think they will work you need some hair that has enough length for the extensions to attach to. I would get some done professionally and you should not be able to see the line. I'm not sure of which type is the best though

Rachael is right. You could get them, but will be limited to a certain length until your hair grows a bit. Have you considered clip ins?
