So I bought some bleach blonde hair extensions from Sally's Beauty salon last August. I loved them because they matched my desired hair perfectly. Unfortunately, I had to die my hair back to its natural dark brown color due to my enlistment in the military. I tried to die my extensions the same color but they turned out black! I need to lighten them up to the color of my hair but I'm trying to avoid bleach. I bought a lighter hair dye, but from what I've been reading there is really no other solution than to bleach them. Please let me know if you know anyway I can lighten my extensions without bleaching them. Thanks!

If so I'm not sure really what you could do but bring them to your hairdresser and ask their opinion :)

I don't think you need to bleach the extensions to get them from a black to a dark brown? That doesn't make sense to me, I think that using the lighter hair color you bought will help :) good luck girl!😊

Color doesn't lift color. To get them lighter, you'll need a developer.

I tried the lighter color and it didn't change much at all. :(
