But is it important to wear a moisturizer with spf if you don't burn?
May 3, 2014
Aurora S.
I believe that it is important because even when you don't burn the skin still absorbs the suns rays and it'll cause premature aging. Granted, if you have more melanin naturally the melanin will act as a natural sunscreen at a certain point but it's still best to use a sunscreen

I did a speech about this and in my research I found getting a tan is still considered sun damage and its the ultraviolet rays from the sun that cause us to tan instead of burn that cause the most damage. In other words darker skin tones tend to be more sun damaged because they are able to get more sun and get tan.

Yes! The sun can still damage your skin. Better safe than sorry :)
