So, I want to start wearing my hair in its natural state, which is curly. This is the first time I've worn my hair curly in so long, probably since last summer. My hair is thick and has not extremely kinky curls, maybe a combo of waves and soft curls? I don't know I'll post a picture.
Anyway, I only wash my hair every 4 or 5 days, but now that I'm wearing it curly, how often should I wash it? I have no problem waiting longer, but my curls get a little rough looking after a couple days, and I hate piling on products because it looks greasy on me.
Should I just wet my hair, and not use shampoo and stuff? Or what?

I just wash it like every 3 or so days. just when the curls aren't nice looking anymore or my hair gets greasy. in between I use Moroccan argan oil to keep them from being frizzy.

I only finger comb my hair in the shower when I have conditioner & my deep conditioner in. I'll comb it after I get out of the shower if I really need to, but not usually.

I washed it Monday morning and was planning on waiting until Friday morning. I always waited 4 or 5 when it was straight but maybe that won't work with the curls lol.

Your hair isnt curly, its a nice wave. Looks beautiful and manageable. I wash mine every 4 days while it's natural and condition it every 2 days to Keep it from being fuzzy and puffy.

So you just get in the shower and wash it, minus the shampoo?

I recommend once a week, and using a leave in and styling cream everyday, which definitely is not a lot of product, as long as the leave in/ styling cream you use is suited to your curl patter and hair type! Your hair is curly, but they are very loose , almost wave like curls! They are gorgeous! Using a moisturizing leave in conditioner like cantu Shea butters leave in everyday will help you hair stay conditioned and smooth as well as manageable! Also, I really suggest Shea moistures curl enhancing smoothie which I use when I'm styling my hair ( I bun my hair a lot) and it has helped my hair stay so manageable and the curls are shiny and just gorgeous , I will be honest , moisture is key!

I wash it every day, using shampoo and conditioner. Letting the conditioner sit longer on your hair helps.

I like the garnier fructis style curl calm down or the garnier fructis style curl enhancing gel! Because when my hair is natural it's a mess! :)

I got both of them from target! They last a while I only need to replace them every six or seven months because a little goes a long way!

You have waves. Do oil treatments in your hair once a week. Depending on how oily it is Try n wash your hair 1-2 times a week.
